I’m Jessica, Founder of The Social Localist…

I’m an Upstate New York digital marketer, content creator and educator who is only satisfied with the best. With nearly a decade of marketing experience, I have a passion for helping business owners succeed and reach sales goals through the power of digital marketing.

Let’s dive a bit deeper, shall we?

I started The Social Localist officially in 2018 after my side hustle of three years took off. While working in a corporate marketing position, I had an overwhelming desire to do more and to have more creative freedom. A small business supporter since 1988 (infants can shop local, right?), I have always loved mom and pop store fronts, farmers markets, cozy local eateries and taking an active role in helping my community. With this in mind, I began working with small businesses in Upstate New York to help elevate and grow their brand presence through social media and content marketing, all while working a full-time corporate gig.

Three years later, I realized my passion project had grown emensely allowing me to leave my corporate position, and turn my side hustle into a thriving business. Today, The Social Localist works with small to mid-size businesses on social media marketing, advertising, content creation, reputation management, event management, website creation, and so much more. I take your business goals seriously all while focusing on truly connecting with you as people, not just an organization.

We love our local community, and it’s important that we give back on a consistent basis. We’re proud to volunteer, donate and assist the following organizations:
